2nd National lockdown – We remain open.
Since the phased return to work from the National lockdown earlier in the year we felt it was important to outline our position following the recent announcement by Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister, that a new national lockdown will apply from 5th November until 2nd December.
Whilst many businesses sectors will have not welcomed another enforced shutdown, the rules for the manufacturing sectors mean that we are allowed to remain open provided we follow the guidelines.
This is very positive news in the face of such difficult times and means we can continue to provide our customers with the high quality windows & doors and service they are accustomed to.
We are acutely aware of the need to keep the business open to minimise disruption and to keep the business running as normally as possible.
We have two main priorities, firstly to keep everyone connected to the business, staff, suppliers & customers safe and healthy. Secondly to maintain supply of our products as we normally would.
The Covid-safe procedures we have been taking all year (and continue to take) mean that our workforce remain socially distanced, wear masks, monitor temperature daily and regularly sanitise their hands. Our delivery drivers all follow the same rules and are well briefed on H&S protocols to keep customers safe.
Some of the Genesis administration staff will be relocating to work from home during this period but will continue to respond and interact with enquiries as normal including the emails, phone numbers and extensions you would normally use.
Manufacturing has witnessed a challenging few months due to supply chain issues and it is our aim to honour our commitments as best we can whilst ensuring we remain fully compliant with Government directives.
As a business we will continually monitor Government announcements and should we be required change our status or working practices we will keep our customers informed.
